In 1865, a Jackson travelled to Canada from England and acquired this property and build his cabin...
As the next generation moved in they turned the cabin into a larger 2-story home.
For over 100 years this house stood in the same place and remained close to the origins of its century long layout, nurturing families and memories for generations.
In 2019 the house suddenly sat empty, void of purpose for the first time in its storied history.
In 2020 the Jackson homestead experienced a transformation, when it was renovated into a licensed kitchen and farm store.
About an acre of land has been tilled under for a new farm fresh garden free of herbicides.
3 generations are now employed at the store, working to provide you with a classic farm experience.
Come out and experience the fresh air of the country and try out the fresh food we have to offer.
We will offer all kinds of classes (post-COVID) that will bring you one-step closer to being more self reliant. You will have the opportunity to learn how to garden, raise animals, preserve your food and more!
Our home is your home. We offer a 2-room, fully licensed kitchen for rent to those who have their food handlers course.
We offer a variety of classes to help expand your knowledge of, and ability in, the kitchen, workshop and garden.
Experience a local Canadian art collection including airbrushing and woodworking. Available for commission work too.
You are invited to enjoy a quiet moment of country living at our home, walking the gardens and discovering treasures in the farm store.
