  • Where are you located?

  • How can I contact you?

  • Where can I find the marketplace?
    Our marketplace is located inside the old white farmhouse just to the right as you come in the driveway. The entrance is a short walk up the gravel path and through the porch door.
  • What can we find in the marketplace?
    From May to December, we have: · Seasonal Produce · Baked Goods · Bread · Farm Raised Meat · Preserves · Honey · Maple Syrup · Dairy Products · Flours/Grains · Local Artisans
  • What makes your meat different from the meat in the grocery store?
    -Our animals are raised on our farm out on pasture. -The have plenty of room to forage on what nature provides. -You can see how the animal live. -They are raised in clean, open areas.
  • What can we do when we come to the farm?
    We are open from May to December. During your visit, you can shop inside the marketplace, visit a few of the animals that are close by, and explore some of the gardens that are outside of the marketplace. If you want to see more of our farm, we offer animal and garden tours that can be prebooked.
  • How long are your classes?
    Our Adult Homesteading classes are approximately 1.5 - 2 hours long (unless otherwise specified.) Our Kids Homesteading classes are approximately 1.5 – 2 hours long. Our Junior Explorer classes are one hour long.
  • Who teaches the classes?
    Classes are taught by people with experience in the skill and have a passion for teaching others a new skill or help them expand their knowledge.
  • What is your refund policy for classes/event?
    If we must cancel a class/event, we will offer a full refund or a class credit. If you have given notice that you will not be able to attend the class/event, you will get a credit for a future class/event. (Limit of one credit a year.) If you do not show up to the class/event without any notice, you will not receive a credit.
  • What do the garden and animal tours consist of?
    You will be taken on a guided, educational tour of either option. On our animal tour, you will get up close with animals and have a chance to feed some of them. On our garden tour, you will get to see an array of food that is grown in all sorts of gardens.
  • Can I bring my class to visit the farm?
    Yes. We can accommodate classrooms on the farm for an educational experience of the many things that we do to provide food for our family and the community. Learn more here about educational visits to our farm: https://www.generationsmarketplace.ca/educational-visits
  • Is your farm wheelchair/stroller accessible?
    We do have a ramp into the marketplace. Most of the outdoor spaces are gravel or mulch paths.
  • Can we bring our pet to the farm?
    Unfortunately, because we have food in the marketplace and animals on the farm, we do not allow pets in the store or anywhere on the property. Certified service animal permitted.
